Tailored opportunities: Call for proposals (NGO’s) Promoting Gender and Social inclusion in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Sector Leadership and Decision-Making in Sub-Saharan Africa”

The USAID WALIS project seeks to award a Fixed Amount Award grant to an organization to strengthen gender and social inclusion in WASH sector leadership and decision-making. Inadequate WASH services tend to disproportionately impact women and girls, yet they are often not explicitly considered in WASH programming, nor are they typically involved in the decision-making processes that influence provision of WASH services. WALIS will partner with a sector organization to support women’s leadership in the WASH sector, increase women and girl’s involvement in WASH decision-making, and/or help integrate gender and social inclusion into WASH policies, with the intention to improve involvement in WASH decision-making. Please refer to the Program Description for a complete statement of goals and expected results.
