Here is another undocumented achievement from our blog post/Tailored Opportunities

Hello Dear Followers and Contributors  Let me start with the Chinese proverb, which say “the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago and the next best time is today”. I am too late to report the achievement I gained through “The African Academic/Researcher” that is on Tailored opportunity: Chance for young people to attend COP 23/ COY 13 in Bonn, Germany, which was posted on 9 August 2017. Regards

I have applied for grant to participate in the COP23 (conference of parties)

The completion was tough, where only 25/3000+ applicants were selected for the grant but I was given the opportunity to participate as self sponsor

With the generous support from the collaborative project “Tools for sustainable management of forest with the local community in Tigray, Ethiopian,” which was funded by NORAD/NORHED program, I was able to attend the COP23, in Bonn Germany in 2017. There were 19,000+ participants from about 196 countries. This is an eye opening and life time opportunity for a young researcher like me
