Tailored Opportunities: Peace, Security and Development Fellowship for African Scholars


The African Leadership Centre (ALC) is accepting applications for the peace, security and Development fellowship for African Scholars. This fellowship targets junior African Scholars who are interested to develop their skills in the area of peace, security. The total duration of the fellowship is 18 months, 12 is used for MSc program at King’s College London and 6 months is used for an attachment to an African University to conduct independent research.


Candidate must have citizens of any African country and who is juniors based in African Universities in the department of political science, international relations, history, law, development studies, peace security and conflict studies.


The deadline for this application is 30 April 2019


To be accepted for the fellowship, applicants must be accepted on both the MSc program and by King’s College London and the fellowship program by ALC.


This fellowship is fully funded that covers tuition, subsistence in the UK and Africa, accommodation, research-related costs and all costs related to the fellowship. However, the fund does not cover visa application and process.
