Tailored Opportunities: Funded Traineeship for Young Graduates at the EU Delegation to Ethiopia

What?

This fund offers a traineeship of 6 months within the Political, Press and Information Section of the delegation to Ethiopia, starting in May 2019. It covers political analysis and reporting, relations with the Government of Ethiopia and its institutions, coordination of EU Member States. It covers press and information such as producing press statements, coordinates press events, relations with local and international press.

Who?

Applicant should have at least a Bachelor degree, who have knowledge about Amharic or other local language and additional degree in another field. This traineeship is for young graduates interested in international relations. It is also for those who are curious to learn more about work of a diplomatic mission and how the EU delegation represents EU interests and values in Ethiopia.

When?

The deadline for submitting the application is Friday 29 March 2019

Benefits?

Each selected trainee will receive a monthly grant to cover living expenses. All costs related to travel inside the country of residence, visa, insurance, accommodation must be borne by the trainee
