Tailored Opportunities: “I stand for peace” Video Competition

What?

The U.S Embassy in Ethiopia has already announced the 2019 video challenge entitled “I stand for peace.” The contestants should submit an original 3 minute or shorter video that asserts why the contestant stands for peace, why peace is important and how it can be achieved.

Who?

This call targets all current and aspiring filmmakers to submit the 3 minute video. The contestants must be at least 18 years and must be Ethiopian citizens who reside in Ethiop.

When?

The deadline for submission is March 31, 2019

How?

The applicant should upload the video on YouTube and send the link along with his/her name and contact details to AddisVideoChallenge@state.gov

Benefits?

The top three winners of the video challenge will receive prizes and opportunities to enhance their skill sets as filmmakers. Prizes will be given in the form of equipment, tools, and/or software that enable the winners to advance their skills in video storytelling.
