What?

The UAB is looking for a PhD candidate who will be hired full time during four consecutive years by UAB and will work at ICTA (http://icta.uab.es). The annual gross salary is of 20.004, 00€, and includes social security. Off-campus medical insurance and field expenses will be covered by the project.

Who?

Candidates should have an official master’s degree in a field relevant for this research (physical sciences, mathematics or a computational science or equivalent) and research experience demonstrating a thorough understanding of climate and/or Earth system models. Candidates should be fluent in written and spoken English (fluency in other languages is a plus) Candidates should 1) be able to travel internationally, and 2) have the ability to work across disciplines.

Deadline for application is 30 September 2018

How?

Applicants should send a cover letter and at least one example of their previous work (e.g. published papers, thesis) and an updated CV to licci.erc@uab.cat by September 30th, 2018. The cover letter should include a personal statement explaining the applicant interest in the project and the name, position and e-mail contact of three potential referees.
