Tailored opportunities: Three PhD positions in Animal Nutrition- Switzerland

What?

The Institute of Agricultural Sciences (IAS) invites interested students to apply for one of Three PhD positions in Animal Nutrition. c The PhD’s will fill positions in the following topics: 1) Plant secondary compounds in the milk as indicators for the cow’s feed. 2) Superfood algae and their effect on the metabolism of the model animal pig. 3) Applicability of insects in poultry feed, and effects on egg and meat Quality.
We are seeking motivated, team-oriented candidates with a strong interest in the interface of basic and applied research in agricultural and nutrition sciences.

Who?

Applicants should hold a master level degree in agricultural or nutrition/food science, biology, veterinary medicine or related disciplines. Affinity for animal experiments and laboratory work is essential. Writing of scientific papers requires good knowledge of the English language. 

When?

Deadline for application is 31 May 2018
